Our online furniture store was launched in 2017 by myself, Jeni Young following the arrival of our third child, hence the name Three Little Pigs.
After more than 12 years of working within fashion retail & buying, a desire to spend more time at home with our young family led me onto a path of selling vintage furniture at various flea markets and via online marketplaces. I revelled in finding nostalgic furniture pieces, bringing them back to life & finding them a new home. It was this new found love of furniture that eventually evolved into the sourcing of newly hand built furniture and it was at this point that Three Little Pigs Furniture was born.
After moving from Cardiff to Cardigan in 2021, we have more recently opened our first bricks & mortar store just off the main high street through Cardigan. Residing in a beautiful listed Old Stables building once belonging to Cardigan Castle, it is full of character & rustic charm. It is the perfect backdrop for our smaller homeware collection which has been carefully curated to support both local & UK based small businesses, most of which are female founded. There are also big plans to open upstairs as a furniture & lighting showroom in the not too distant future so that we can showcase more of our online offer.
We are lucky to also have an independent resident Architect, Billy Studio & a Lighting Designer Home Lighting Design sharing the first floor studio space. Its a real creative hub!
