Vintage Star Welsh Wool cushion cover, woven in West Wales.
Melin Tregwynt Woollen Mill has been weaving blankets since 1912 & this Vintage Star design was first in production in the 1950's. Revived in new contemporary colours still with all the features of Welsh tapestry blankets.
The warmth and breathability of wool coupled with a vibrant reversible design makes this pattern a striking addition to any room. Traditional welsh blankets and bedspreads are always reversible and the cushion covers have been constructed so that you get to enjoy both sides of the cloth.
Woven in 100% pure New Wool and practical for everyday use, warm, durable but still easy to care for.
Standard cushion cover - 45 cm x 45 cm (inner not included)
Wash Care - We recommend DRY CLEANING our blankets & throws, but you can WASH BY HAND in cold or cool water (no more than 30 degrees) using a delicate detergent. Move the fabric gently in the water for a couple of minutes. RINSE with cold water and press the excess moisture out - don't wring. Follow with a quick SPIN in the washing machine. Pull into shape whilst damp to straighten, then line dry on a breezy day or dry flat. Cool iron if necessary. We do not advise using a Wool Wash programme on your washing machine for blankets and throws.
